axSpAの疾病負荷の影響

axSpAに伴う症状は、患者の生活のさまざまな側面に悪影響を及ぼす可能性がある。6

  • こわばり、不動性、痛み、疲労により、身体 機能が制限され、日常生活動作に影響を及ぼすことがある。
  • axSpAの患者はしばしば睡眠障害に悩まされる。
  • 脊椎の可動性が失われると、仕事の生産性や余暇活動が制限されたり、低下したりする。

axSpAは全体的に、他の自己免疫疾患にみられるものと同様に、 全死亡率の増加と関連している。7 これらの増加は、主に循環器疾患と呼吸器疾患に関連している。7,8

axSpA患者を管理する際には、個々の臨床症状・徴候の具体的な指標から、患者のQOLへの影響の評価まで、疾患活動性のあらゆる側面を考慮することが重要である。1,6
